This completely reimagined desert retreat beautifully balances the striking natural environment surrounding the property with the iconic architecture this Palm Springs neighbourhood is famous for. Even the shape of the resort’s centrepiece, a stunning new swimming pool, mirrors the rooflines of the mid-century modern homes nearby. And of course, swimsuits are always optional.

The Twin Palms Resort really shines in the midst of a mid century wonderland.
The Resort has a long history, but it’s never been quite like this before. When the current owners took over, the resort was just blending in with the modernist vibe of the area, lacking a unique identity.
But that all changed when the masterminds behind two other popular gay resorts in Palm Springs had a vision for the Twin Palms. They saw its potential and decided to bring it up to par with their other successful properties, Santiago and Descanso Resorts.
It was a delicate balance of preserving the old charm while injecting new life into the resort, and the management team nailed it. With their thoughtful upgrades, the Twin Palms Resort proudly stands out as a gem in its modernist neighbourhood.
The Twin Palms Resort underwent a transformation into an exclusive getaway for gay men, beginning with a renovation. The swimming pool now mirrors the mid-century-inspired rooflines of nearby homes.
The rooms feature vibrant decor reminiscent of a 1950s desert retreat, and the architecture seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. These meticulous details set the new Twin Palms Resort apart as more than just a cosmetic update. In developing the latest addition to Palm Springs’ gay resorts, the Twin Palms management prioritized preserving its historical charm. The classic mid-century modernist style was maintained, honouring the area’s architectural heritage.
Outdoor facilities include a sparkling heated swimming pool and large twelve-man spa, Luxurious sun beds with plush pool towels, and Outdoor shower. We offer an outdoor mist cooling system for hot desert days, and a communal fire pit for cold winter nights.
